All assessments are based on the 70% value in accordance with provision of the Connecticut General Statues. The 2022 Grand List mill rate is 31.32 mills. Taxes are based on the assessment multiplied by the town mill rate. To calculate taxes use your assessment (70% value) and multiple it by the town's mill rate (2022 Grand List 31.32).

For example: If your assessment is 1,000 and the mill rate is 31.32 you would calculate (1,000 X .03132 = $31.32) to get the annual tax amount.
